How does the LiveStream work?

A: The LiveStream allows you to earn 30 Credits from the comfort of your home or office. You may listen to engaging presentations, view the speakers’ presentation slides, and participate in Q&A sessions. You will be given login credentials to the LiveStream Portal prior to the conference start date. You may test your connection by viewing a test video in the LiveStream Portal, which will be posted until the start of the conference. You may view the LiveStream on your Smartphone, Tablet, or Computer. You will receive Live Credits for the LiveStream as it is a live broadcast of our Conference. You will receive further instructions for the credit claiming process upon the start of the conference.

What are the technical requirements for viewing the LiveStream?

A: Generally, if you are able to watch a YouTube video or Netflix, you will have no issue. The following information is from our technical team regarding technical requirements.

“In order to view the LiveStream, make sure you have the most up to date browser and an Internet connection of at least 1 Mbps.

  • Operating system: Windows 7+, Mac OS X 10.7+, Ubuntu 10+, or Linux OS 11+ (64-bit)
  • Most recent version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, or Opera
  • If you have an older browser or operating system, you will need the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player
  • Closing other tabs or browsers while streaming will also help”

Can I ask the speakers questions if I am live streaming?

A: Yes, you may use our Q&A platform to ask the speakers questions in real time.

Can I earn credits from watching the recordings?

A: The recording does NOT offer any additional credits, but is an opportunity for attendees to review the material from our courses.

How long will the recordings be available to watch?

A: The recording will be posted for 60 days.

What is the difference between the LiveStream and the conference recording?

A: The LiveStream offers you the opportunity to earn Live CME Credits from your home or office. You may tune into our conference that is happening in person in real time. The recording does not offer additional credits, but is simply a way for you to review the presentations for 60 days.

If I sign up for the LiveStream, will the CME credits still count as ‘live’?

A: Yes, because the conference is live streamed, the credits count as ‘live’ credits.

How do I access the presentation slides?

A: You will be given login credentials prior to the start of the conference to the View Slides tab on our website to access the presentation slides.

How do I access my CME certificate?

A: Please see our page titled How To Get Your Credits.

Do I have the opportunity to ask the speaker questions during the conference?

A: Yes, you will have the opportunity to ask speakers questions after each presentation.

Do I need to sign in every day?

A: Yes, you must sign in daily on the sign in sheets provided at the Registration Desk in order to receive CME credits for that day. If you are live streaming the conference, there is no need to sign in.

If I am not attending the full conference, how many CME credits will I earn?

A: Our conferences offer 30 Live CME Credits. You will earn 8.25 CME credits per day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 5.25 CME credits on Sunday, totaling 30 Credits for the full conference. This applies to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, AAFP Prescribed Credits, and ABIM MOC II Points.

Can I receive ABIM MOC II points?

A: Yes, to receive ABIM MOC II points, we require you to provide your ABIM number and birthdate as well as completion of a post-test. MOC II points will be reported to the ABIM by the accrediting institution. For more information, please see our How To Get Your Credits page.

Can I earn prescribed AAFP credits?

A: Yes, our conferences are accredited for Prescribed AAFP credits.

Can I earn Live AAFP credits if I choose to LiveStream the conference?

A: Yes.

What is your refund policy?

A: You can cancel your registration for a FULL refund until 14 days before the start of the conference. “No Shows” are subject to the full conference fee.

Will you provide a syllabus?

A: No, we do not provide a syllabus. However, you will be provided with all of the presentation slides in PDF format. These can be found on our View Slides page or, if attending via LiveStream, via the LiveStream Portal during the conference.

Are there any refreshments provided?

A: If attending in person, a light breakfast is served each morning, along with two snack breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Coffee and tea are also provided all day.

If I want to switch to the LiveStream or vice-versa, can I do so without being penalized?

A: Yes, just email us at and we can switch your registration over.
